What You Need To Bring With You To Lease A Car
When collecting a vehicle, you will need to bring the following documents:

Photo ID (usually a passport)

Driving licence

Proof of address

Proof of insurance

Sufficient funds for a deposit, plus the pro rata contract payment until the end of the month
Please ensure you allow enough time during your appointment to read the contract, check the vehicle, note any imperfections, and complete all paperwork. This process is unlikely to take less than one hour.
We will need to photocopy all documents provided.
Please note that vehicles are routinely fitted with trackers and immobilisers to aid recovery and to track mileage.
Key Contract Terms & Conditions
Individual contracts will vary. The terms and conditions in your signed contract will always apply. Below are the key points of our standard agreement:

1,000 miles per month are included within the monthly fee. Mileage over this will be charged per mile.

Payments are due on the 1st or the 15th of each month (your choice) and must be referenced with the vehicle registration number.

Vehicles must be used sensibly and driven according to the rules of the road.

Customers must check the vehicle regularly (oil, water, tyre pressure, etc.).

Vehicles must not be used to carry out delivery work unless agreed in advance with Blue Chip Leasing.

The vehicle must be returned every 5,000 miles for servicing and maintenance, and in time for the MOT.

Insurance must include Blue Chip Leasing as the vehicle owner.

Road tax will be provided at cost and is not included in the headline monthly cost.

The customer is responsible for getting the car to the workshop in the event of a breakdown.
What Blue Chip Leasing Will Provide
Blue Chip Leasing will:

Provide the selected car, maintained and running well, with a valid MOT

Carry out any MOT work at no cost to the customer

Carry out maintenance work (as defined by us) to ensure the car is reliable and safe

Provide a courtesy car, subject to terms and conditions
Important Information
While we always aim for everything to run smoothly, issues can occasionally occur. In all circumstances, Blue Chip Leasing reserves the right to terminate the contract without further notice and without responsibility for any consequential costs.
Occasionally, we may need to recover a vehicle. In these cases, we will do everything possible to avoid that situation and will usually give you the option to return the vehicle to us.
Vehicle recovery may be required where there is no insurance, persistent disregard for road laws, poor payment history, failure to look after the vehicle, or misuse/abuse of the vehicle. If you fail to return the vehicle within a reasonable amount of time, we may recover the car using the spare key without further notice.
This approach is taken to avoid physical confrontation during recovery. If personal belongings are in the vehicle at the time, you will be able to collect them by pre-arrangement. If we recover the car, a recovery fee may be charged and may be taken from your deposit.
